Jason Banegas
Economic Extension - Statewide Agent Forecasting
Jason is a Statewide Forecasting Specialist with the Cooperative Extension Service (CES) at NMSU.
His areas of expertise are: Agricultural Market Outlooks, Economic Development, Rural Development, Tourism Development, and Business Development and Entrepreneurship.
Jason has 5 years of teaching, research, and economic development experience at NMSU. He has worked for the NMSU Center for Border Economic Development and with NMSU CES as a graduate assistant for the CREATE BRIDGES initiative.
He is also a student in the Doctorate of Economic Development program, and the Water Science and Management Ph.D. Program.
