Carlos E. Carpio-Ochoa

Production economics and consumer demand

Carlos E. Carpio is a Professor and Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business (AEAB) and the Department of Extension Economics (EE). His research focuses on the economics of production and consumer demand in the agri-food supply chain. Dr. Carpio holds a Ph.D. in Economics from North Carolina State University, an M.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University, and a B.S. in Agriculture from Zamorano University in Honduras. He has taught courses in consumer demand analysis and applied econometrics/statistics.
