Don Blayney
Don Blayney is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business at New Mexico State University. Prior to taking the position, spent 25 years with the Economic Research Service of the USDA> He received his B.S in mathematics from Westminster College (Pennsylvania), M.A. in Economics from New Mexico State University, and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Washington State University.
His primary research interests are production, marketing and policy related to the U.S. dairy industry and in New Mexico as well. These interests also encompass supply chain issues from producer to consumers, both domestic and international. More recently, he has also been exploring issues related to rural and community economic development issues in New Mexico.
